In this video Heimler walks you through Unit 9 Topic 2 of AP World History (9.2) which deals with the limitations of technology in the face of disease.
There are some diseases associated with poverty like malaria, cholera, and tuberculosis.
Others are highly infectious and travel along trade and travel routes like the Spanish Flu and Ebola.
Other diseases are associated with a population that lives longer, like heart disease and Alzheimer’s.
