Tenochtitlan was the most advanced city in the world in 1400s;
it did not interact with any of the civilizations above.
Tenochitlan
Tenochitlan was the capital of the Aztec civilization. This new city was founded when the Aztecs saw the eagle (Huitzilopochtli) perched on a cactus eating a snake. This legend is now part of the Mexican flag.
